Aydın Commerce Exchange said that the best quality dried figs in the world are produced in Aydın. He stated that Aydın meets 68 percent of Turkey's dried fig production, and that the demand for this product in the foreign market is increasing year by year. Pointing out that 2021 was a very good year for both the producer and the exporter, he said: "Both the advantages of the pandemic, the well-known reputation of the Aydın fig, and the fact that the consumer accepts the Aydın fig in the world and keeps it in their table, closet and bag are effective. "Previously, it was only sent to European Union countries and the USA, but now countries such as China, Thailand, Indonesia, Russia and Africa also buy figs from Turkey. Our goal is to double these figures."
